Setting: Wiki
History: Rebecca is a member of S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics And Rescue Service) Bravo Team, serving as rear medic. She was on the way to her first mission (responding to reports of mass cannibalism) when the Bravo Team's helicopter blew an engine and was forced to crash land in the middle of Raccoon Forest. No one was hurt in the crash and the team proceeded to search the area. During the search, they came across the wreckage of a military transport car and found all the passengers dead. In the wreckage, Rebecca found a document about a prisoner named Billy Coen. Billy was an ex-marine lieutenant who was arrested for the murder of twenty-three people. He was being transported for his execution when the vehicle crashed. Venturing further into the forest and away from her group, Rebecca then came across a train, which belonged to the Umbrella Corporation.

When she got on the train she found all the passengers infected with the t-Virus, which turned them into blood-thirsty zombies. She was forced to defend herself until she encountered the infamous Billy Coen, who held a gun up to her head before nonchalantly walking off. When they met again, Billy suggested teaming up and was brutally turned down by Rebecca, who had every reason not to trust him. After trying to survive on her own for long enough to realize that she needed help, she finally decided that teaming up with Billy was a good idea. After not too long, the train started moving, accelerating at an alarming pace. Rebecca and Billy realize that at the speed the train was moving it would inevitably derail and they would both be killed. With much effort and the struggle of dealing with the undead and strange leeches that relentlessly attacked them, they reached the emergency brakes and stopped the train. Unfortunately, the train caught on the sides of the tunnel and crashed while slowing to a stop. They both survived the crash and found themselves at the Umbrella Research Center.

Inside the large mansion that is the Umbrella Research Center, Billy and Rebecca found themselves facing more of the infected humans and creatures. By this point, Rebecca's trust in Billy had increased significantly. After saving Rebecca from falling to her death, Billy told her the story of what really happened the day he supposedly killed twenty-three innocent people. Rebecca responded by telling him that she believed him and didn't think he did it. When her team member Enrico called in to see what was going on she lied to him to keep Billy safe, saying that she hadn't seen him. As they searched the mansion, they uncovered many dark revelations concerning the Umbrella Corporation and its founder, James Marcus as well as the leader of S.T.A.R.S., Albert Wesker. They discovered that the t-Virus was created by the Umbrella Corporation and that James Marcus was the man behind it.

With the truth revealed, Rebecca and Billy made it out of the mansion at the last moment before it self-destructed. They said their final goodbyes and Rebecca took Billy's dog tags and put them on, intending to use them as proof that he was "dead" before they went their separate ways. Rebecca then proceeded to head toward the smaller mansion where the team was supposed to meet up, intending to tell them all the truth about the Umbrella corporation.

Personality: Rebecca is a very intelligent and motivated girl. She graduated from college when she was eighteen and joined S.T.A.R.S. soon afterward. She is determined to be taken seriously and will do almost anything to prove herself to her peers and superiors. She didn't hesitate to take the mission that led to her meeting Billy because she wanted to show that she could do it. She is also very headstrong and confident as shown in various exchanges between her and Billy. One example of this is when she says (to Billy) "You expect me to trust you? A wanted felon? I don't need your help. I can handle this on my own. And don't call me little girl!" She isn't afraid to be forceful and rude to Billy even though she knows he was convicted of twenty-three counts of murder and is holding a gun at the time. Rebecca is a very passionate person and she always does what's right even if it isn't legal. She shows this when she lies to Enrico to protect Billy even though she knows she could get fired or even go to prison if he ever found out. This also shows that she's a selfless person, endangering her own future to protect Billy's. Altogether, Rebecca is a strong person and has a very good heart.

Abilities, Weaknesses and Power Limitations: Abilities: Rebecca specializes in chemistry and medicine and has experience with biochemistry. With the right ingredients, she can make medicine to help with pain (injury), poison, and infection. She is also very good with a gun.

Weaknesses: Rebecca is very small and she isn't extremely strong so her weakness would probably be hand to hand or close combat situations.

Inventory: Handgun, bullets, ink ribbons, herbs (red, green, & blue), medical spray, knife, mixing kit (for combining aforementioned herbs)
Appearance: Short brown hair, green eyes, very short... Here's a picture!

Log Sample: The hill seemed steeper on the way down than it had from the top. As Officer Rebecca Chambers moved down the incline, maneuvering around trees and rocks and any plants that she recognized as poisonous or dangerous, she couldn’t keep her mind from going back to the same subject over and over again. Billy Coen.

She knew she had done the right thing by letting him go, but by doing so had jeopardized her entire future. She’d been so determined to do everything right, follow all the rules and make a good impression on her superiors. But instead she’d disobeyed orders, lied to Enrico, and released a wanted fugitive who could have easily been lying to her about his innocence. Rebecca was well aware that she could be fired, or even arrested for assisting an escaped convict, but still she had done it.

Even with all this in mind, Rebecca was sure she would be feeling a lot worse if she hadn’t done it. Even though it seemed more logical to believe and listen to her colleagues than an escaped convict, she didn’t think Billy had been lying. No, Billy wouldn’t lie to save himself. He was too proud of a person to do that. And he hadn’t thought she believed him anyway. There wouldn’t have been a point in lying to her about it if he didn’t think she would believe him. She’d been able to tell by his eyes that he’d expected her to turn him in the moment they were out of that place. It was a look that had filled her with sadness and pity. There was something so sad about that man. He seemed so lonely, like he had never had anyone there for him.

She pushed the sad thoughts aside and returned her focus to the upcoming task. She had to tell everyone what she’d found. Enrico and the others would be waiting at the mansion and she might be the only one that had found out anything useful about the t-Virus. Rebecca felt confident about the hidden things she’d uncovered and felt like it somehow justified releasing Billy Coen. She felt that she could cancel out the fireable offense by sharing the vast amount of important information she’d found in the Umbrella Research Center.

She gave a small triumphant sound as the mansion came once again into view and she realized how close she was. She could almost taste the relief of being officially done with all this. The feeling of accomplishing something great. But she knew she would never be truly finished with the matter. There was still a lot to attend to: The t-Virus was still loose in Raccoon City and they would have to find some way to stop it.

As she reached the door, there was no doubt in her mind that she wasn’t done here. And it was a surprisingly good feeling. There would always be a part of her here, an imprint in the smoldering wreckage of the Umbrella Research Center in the middle of the Raccoon Forest, and she felt that there was always going to be a part of this terrible experience clinging to her as well. It was at that moment that she realized she was stronger for it. For all she’d been through, everything she’d seen.

With one final look at the ruined building and a small smile at the top of the hill where she had had her last moments with Billy Coen. He no longer stood there as he had been when she left, but she could still feel him there. Her hand moved up to the silver dog tags hanging around her neck, fingers sliding gently around it and clutching it like it was her most prized possession. “Goodbye, Billy. Thank you.” She opened the door.

Comms Sample: [Rebecca has her hand on the grip of her handgun as she looks around at the unfamiliar surroundings. Despite her confusion and fear, she manages to keep her voice mostly steady and calm]

Hello?

[She unholsters the gun and holds it steadily in both hands]

Is anyone there? This is Officer Chambers of S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. Is anyone there?

[Whatever's going on, she doesn't want anyone sneaking up on her]

Anyone?

[She waits for a moment, then satisfied that she's alone, relaxes her grip on the gun slightly and ends the feed]
